I noticed it too when I was eating at a sushi place. So glad I wasn’t such a hardcore fan of one of the teams and just watching it for fun, can’t imagine how stressful it would have been if I was. By the way I believe it was in the last minute of regulation when they changed it to the start of the game in Dallas for a minute

Yeah that was end of regulation where NYR had a power play and Carolina was in the process of getting a nice shorthanded scoring chance. ESPN needs to do better or stop bidding on important games if they are going to screw up like that.

So frustrating. Killed our own penalty not once but TWICE with stupid mistakes. And then once we were on the PP we didn't shoot. Rangers are capitalizing on our mistakes and Igor going god mode giving me PTSD against Florida last year.We can win this series, we just have to stop beating ourselves. Go Canes! 🚩🚩

GG to the Canes. They played with fire but again, bad penalties hurt them. Igor bailed the Rangers, especially Carolina’s short handed chances at the end of the third. Only deflections could beat him tonight, monster game. Also, I’ve always been a Trouba apologist, but tonight was abysmal. They should consider Zac Jones for Game 3

@@JT-gi8rx his physicality is his biggest asset and it has been a plus many times in regular season and playoffs. Against a team like Carolina, his lack of speed is definitely more noticeable. The penalties are inexcusable though, as is flying at someone with your elbow out and nearly paralyzing yourself and slicing your opponents neck open in the process. If he can’t control himself then he needs to be benched

But after watching that game, I had the impression that he had a pretty good game and saved his team a lot of times? Obviously, the goalie in the other end topped that performance, but still? As a rangers fan freddie is NOT to blame. He played great actually. He had no chance on a couple goals because of the crisp passing. We easily score 2 or 3 more if hes not as good as he was. Igor was just better.

Ive heard this quite a bit already but thats just because the Rangers are so good on the PP. They only had 2 penalties in game 1 which is actually very good. We just scored on both lol. 5 is kinda high for game 2 but again seems like this team scores everytime they get an opportunity so you literally have to take 0 penalties which is almost impossible without the other team running all over you.

My TIVO stopped recording towards the end of first overtime. I watched this game the next day not knowing the results. What a letdown (and lesson learned). I had to come here for the highlights, but only asking my son if I should bother watching or not. Truth is, I think I would have watched it even if the Rangers lost. Respect for the Canes. Aho terrifies me, the guy is relentless.
