Laine is the Jets' Ovechkin snd Schifele is his Backstrom.

Brendan S no, way different. Laine isn't much of a puck handler, and is more of a wrister, Ovi loves the one timers and slap shots and tries to dangle. Laine also is less physical and has a more finesse to his game where Ovi has a more objective view to his game. And Backstrom is way more of a finesse like player, Scheifele is more of a two way, and more heavy on his skates, and finishes his checks better. I get the analogy you're making, but it's not really accurate. Scheifele and Laine are more like the Sedins or Gretzky and Robitaille (not nearly as many points or cups of course)
