That was a bad hit on knies, unfortunately the nhl doesn’t protect players safety they only protect their referees….refs make mistakes and miss calls sometimes, it happens…but with replays it only shows how incompetent the nhl really is.

Just because a player like Knies is tuff enough to get back up, doesn't mean the hit was any less dangerous, there was pure intent behind it unlike the Reavo hit. Shameful player safety letting that slide.

I was surprised to see that Fraser Minten and Nikita Grebenkin, who are working hard to improve their careers with the MARLIES, were selected. Strike while the iron is hot? I don't know what the future holds, but I'm happy to be able to look forward to these young guns in both the 2025 NHL Playoffs and the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs. Congratulations to Joseph Woll for his first shutout of the season.

With the amount of players Toronto got on IR and LTIR, they have had to give some of the younger gus a shot and it really seems like they are taking the oppertunity to show how much they developed. For the first time in a long time, it looks like Leafs got some really promising dept in the organization and it is paying off.

They're only human. Lots of injuries. I mean they built the team out of lucky bargain bin finds that other teams had either given up on or thought were too risky (Stone, Eichel, Lehner, etc...). Some panned out, some really well. You're only get that lucky by being smart, but the luck is running low.
