@@Dougie-ex1ov Not only goaltending. The team is playing much better defensively. And, unlike previous coaches, Berube has the defence protecting the goalie with positioning, shot-blocking, playing the body, and taking care of rebounds if they happen.

Best Leafs hilights by a mile, and those Leafs play by play guys are the best by a mile too. Fantastic job as usual. Nice to see the Leafs don't just check their skate laces when they get pushed around like in the past. Now they push back.

There is a fire lit under these guys this year and it’s awesome!!! Also I complained in the past about Marner not going to the dirty areas. He definitely seems more willing to challenge players with a good forecheck this year. Fans love hard work, intensity and sacrifice even more than skill I think.

I agree that the refs should call it when it's a penalty. This was not a penalty. It's called a hit. If you had any objectivity and a slow mo you could see his head slamming into his upper arm which is hugging his body.

GREAT game by the Buds!! Refs totally lost control of this game after that brutal non-call! Not saying it's the same as Reaves' hit on Nurse, but it was definitely a head-shot - upwards motion, elbows up - HOW is that not a penalty?! I'm glad Toronto kept it super-gritty after that. Thanks again for this. I stream Joe as well but since discoving your segment for highlights with Joe Bowen it is my only go-to. I don't know what we are going to do when Joe retires. There is few truly great play by play commentators left. The others are all just 2 or 3 guys watching the game and gabbing all throught it with a half hearted reference to something going on down on the ice. They drag all the games down.

Yes I mute the TV and listen to 590 radio, Usually i find the radio is behind the tv by a few seconds so I pause the tv enough to sync them up (easier to do with a faceoff), oddlly enough I have to re-sync a couple of times over the duration of the game, sometimes even after a TV commercial (?!)
