Long time rangers fan. It’s evident that this team is no longer a contender. Paying Igor won’t help that - a great core is complimented w a good goalie but, as we saw with Lundqvist, a great goalie cannot drag a mediocre core.

They can’t get rid of Trouba and Zibanejad even if they wanted too. So now we’re stuck watching overpaid lack of interest players get away with slacking.
