Malkin pretty much said it all in his tweets the other day, the Pens top line doesn't care if they win or lose as long as they get to play out their careers together. That should be cause for concern in Pen country. As for Malkin trade talks, nobody is giving up 1st round picks and prospects with 10+ years ahead of them for a 38 year old with possibly one last 50 point season in him before he retires. Any team that does is desperate to put asses in seats, and since he doesn't care about winning games Anaheim or Buffalo sound like just the right place for him.

Man, quite a few empty seats! It may not be like the two pre-Mario Lemieux seasons, but that lower bowl is starting to look like some of those crowds in San Jose. The Pengos didn't even register 20 shots on goal in this game! The Jets scored very early and didn't look back.

Little bit harder to track the puck as we all age lol. Команда Виннипег хрупкая, на фоне беспомощного Питтсбурга это смотрелось как будто работник пришёл сделал своё дело и молча ушёл, конечно в плей офф самолётов уничтожат поломают лидеров, ведь в плей офф главное не техника а жёсткость и злость, чего у Виннипега нет и не было, да и Хеллебайк будет получать там как и в прошлом кубке по 5 в среднем, но пока все играют на легке лучше этой канадской команды пока что нет, у них всё встроено как в механизме похожи на Каролину, где каждый знает, что, когда, где и зачем 🤷‍♀️

I figured it out. The Pens are resting and a little sandbagging. On January 11th, or some date, they will win a game and that will start an 8 game winning streak. They THEN will win 8 of 10 and THEN win 60% of the remaining games. They will earn a playoff position and make it to the cup final and win it all!!! You read it here first. (I just AINT putting any of MY money on that but it will happen, or maybe not.)
