Then again what difference does it make, they're not gonna make the playoffs anyway. 4 day break and they come out flat and uninspired. They're playing like they want their coach fired. Injuries? Obviously but the core group should be able to overcome that. It just seems to me like they need a new voice in the room as the hip people say.

They were down 5-2... making up 3 goals takes a string of minor miracles, odds are always against it but better to try and fail than not try.

@@jarbuthn "odds are always against it" is a monumental understatement. It's literally never happened. You know what has actually happened? Scoring a couple, even three goals in a 5 minute span _without_ pulling your goalie. Pulling your goalie with 8 minutes left is just gifting a goal or more to the other team. Just out of curiosity, why is 8 minutes the magic number? They were down 5-2 with almost 14 minutes left. Seems like if having 6 skaters on the ice with 8 minutes left is a good plan, doing it with 14 minutes left makes just as much sense. And why put the goalie back in down 6-2? Might as well just keep going until you're down 10-2. I mean, the odds are against you but you might as well try, right? It's all just dumb.

@@trevorlambert4226 You're right but I think part of the calculus is having an extra man out there also increases the chances of drawing a penalty. Ultimately, the stanard "last minute" pull is changing these days but I suspect it may swing back as these experiments aren't working.

Тампа в плей-офф не хотела с начала сезона. В этом сезоне, видимо, ей дадут отдохнуть. Перемудрили менеджеры с игроками. За несколько лет избавились от тех, кто хорошо играет в других командах. При этом кого-то яркого они не приобрели. Как вариант, можно было Кузьменко забрать. Вся Тампа держится на Кучерове. Ну и основная политика Тампы одним платить очень много, а другие пусть играют за копейки. У многих игроков зарплаты не соответствуют действительности. В общем, превратили Тампу не понятно во что. Капитализм с элементами глубокой деменции.

@@jarbuthn Ход событий описал в прошлом посте. Повторю лишь, что, да, верно - игрокам нужно платить. Колмен получает почти в 3 раза больше, чем в Тампе. Колтон в 3,5 раза больше, чем в Тампе. Зато в Тампе Сирелли 6,3, Чернак 5,2, Сергачев 8,5. Даже Пэрри если бы не накосячил, то получал бы сейчас в Чикаго в 4 раза больше, чем в Тампе. Вопрос еще в том, как назначаются зарплаты и за что. Может быть кто-то из игроков более удобен тренерскому штабу, а кто-то менее симпатичен. То есть это дисбаланс, который менеджмент Тампы вносит в игру команды.
