Just stumbled across your video, I'm currently in the middle of a chop build using a 1200 sportster, totally built from scratch which i have never done before, frame, and everything. Anyway i took a look back through your vids and ended up watching the whole sportster build, great videos and nice to see the shed builds are still well and truly alive ;-) I thoroughly enjoyed them..

Very beautiful build. I happened to just see your video by chance today. In fact, 3 years back I had the exact same look and design in my mind and I started out on a rubber mount EFI 2011 Iron 883 donor to build a softail but it turned out a total disaster. After several attempts and cracked frames I gave up. I gather now that its easier to covert the earlier version non-rubber mount/non-EFI sportsters (I believe there also used to be a company that made softail frames for sportsters) Anyways, great job. Can I ask what brand exhaust is on your bike

Sweet!!! How does it compare to the Roadstar bobber in term of feeling / performance?
@MrHotrod4605 жыл бұрын
its a lot lighter so much easier to handle but lacks the massive low down torque the roadstar had, ive lowered the gearing to gain some more low end torque and getting used to it now

What kind of pipes you runnin sir ?
@MrHotrod4605 жыл бұрын
standard down pipes with crossover removed, and 19inch turnouts from ebay

How did you 'plug' the holes left by the crossover ?
@MrHotrod4605 жыл бұрын
just used a piece of the crossover pipe and welded it over the hole

@MrHotrod4605 жыл бұрын
