when it comes to samba, you always need to size up if you have wide feet. but for the rest, it should be true to size.

Extra wide feet otherwise you should get the length right, they stretch enough on the side. It’s a football shoes it should be snug around the feet, but getting extra length on the sole just makes them annoying.

You need to half size up for this depends on your feet tho. Usually I’ll wear true to size only when you are playing soccer with the performance version. For casual use u need to half size up. Theres a reason why it was narrow as you need more ball feel with your foot for soccer. Who the heck wear a lose fit while playing sports you suppose to get a snug fit when running or movement with your feet. For normal everyday casual go half size up people. I’ve Been wearing samba before the hype was on.
