Also, lots of people got the Perry the Platypus song in theirs. The AI is insane. My most "niche" mix is Spanish songs from 2001-2006 that I danced to during our local holidays as a child. I don't know how the vampire mix works because mine ranges from somehow including songs that have no relation to vampires beyond being featured in The Vampire Diaries, dramatic, mostly dark theatre, indie rock, and kpop (I was disappointed Enhypen didn't appear until the playlist updated a few times), and then one song like the Ed Sheeran example that I couldn't figure out how the AI assumed it was connected to vampires, or even anything remotely dark and theatrical.

Here’s some wacky mixes from my account: Jersey Club Mix- I get this is based on my listening habits but do clubs in Jersey listen to Deltarune mashups THAT MUCH? My Pirate Mix actually did have some pirate music on it (Alestorm). Rare spotify W. anyway there’s also a Sad Pirate Mix and Extreme Pirate Mix, as well as a Pirate House Mix and a Pirate.. Study Mix? Mellow Gold Mix- mostly just weird title. It’s 70s pop/folk music mostly. Meme Rap- Half of this playlist isn’t even rap but I give it points for having Mine Diamonds. Comic mix- I’m not sure whether they’re supposed to be comedic or related to comics. Either way this is kinda incomprehensible. Poem Mix- Also kind of random, but quite singer-songwriter-heavy. Points for having a Doki Doki Literature Club song. Speedrun mix- Honestly just surprised this is a thing. The upbeat electronic music makes sense though. True Black Metal Mix- I mean I get having a black metal mix, but why True? Is there an Untrue Black Metal mix that plays Barbie OSTs in here? Is Spotify in its trve kvlt phase? Who knows. 1900s mix- why is Tally Hall in here? Murder Ballad- Country songs about killing people. Pretty good. Clowncore mix- Mostly TikTok type songs. Witchcore Mix- self-explanatory.

While looking through my playlists I somehow found a Japanese sing along kpop mix. Very confusing since I don’t live in Japan and my phone isn’t in Japanese or anything. The playlist name and title were all written in Japanese. And this was one of the “made for you” playlists, it did say “made for (my username)”. Now most of the songs on the playlist were kpop (a few being Japanese versions) but for some reason there’s also three Ed Sheeran songs on there too. I also found a dance kpop mix which confused me because most kpop songs have dances so the majority of kpop songs could be in this playlist.

I REGULARLY get a bunch of Turkish songs in my generated playlists for pretty major genres. I cannot stress enough how much I don't listen to Turkish music (I mean it's good, but I never listened to it on Spotify).
