You can fit these trucks in a 7ft garage door. I have a GMC Black Widow and it’s parked in my garage and it has a fabtech 6in lift.

Great videos I'm learning a lot for when I get the balls to lift my 2017. I got the same Chevy Silverado even got the Borla exhaust. I'm having a problem not wanting to do a Nor Cal and cut or hit on a truck I spent so much money on. torn between keeping it stock and looking like everyone else's or making it one of a kind.

Go with a 6", or 6.5" with 35's like mine you wont even notice it. i have the same truck as well trust me you wont regret it

elitefighter welp now i have a 10” lift on. But no i didnt regear with the 6” or the 10”. My mph sucks honestly but ive gotten used to it. It’s probably around 12 im guessing 🤣

Does this 6" BDS throw off the tire tracking? And if so, do you recall if you guys used any spacers in the rear on this build? At some points in the video it appears to have offset tracking and others - looks even. Please advise. Thanks in advance!

So I’m getting a truck soon and I plan on getting a 6 inch lift with 35s, I’m new to this so can someone tell me how much more often you have to keep things checked on with the truck such as the joints and things like that as opposed to without any lift? I’ve been told that adding a lift requires a lot more attention

Joshua, it doesn't wear them out 100x faster or anything like that. But if your wheel bearing for example is wearing it out, a big lift and wheels/tires will wear it out quicker then if it were stock. But if its got quality parts and you don't curb hop it, you shouldn't actually notice a huge difference of maintenance pattern!

I just got me a chevy 2018, Z71. Slowly getting into mods. Now my question is. What is the function of all these lifting trucks? Are they for looks only? I see all the mods from wheels, tires to suspension and still see all infos about tire rubbing? Can you still ride these beast to offroading?

you can do offroading Marlon, everyone does it for their own personal preferences! looks, more ground clearance, etc!

Don't let them fool you, these stupid lift kits & 20"+ rims are strictly for looks! You need a fully built truck with long travel suspension. You try to take a little jump with that thing you'll be calling a tow truck I'll guarantee you that!! If you're gonna do more than a dirt road don't waste your money.

Hey just outa curiosity, how come you don't do many 7.5" rough country lifts? Had one on my 2015 dmax and loved it, I switched to a half ton but haven't pulled the trigger on a lift. I feel a rough country 7.5 is a good happy medium between the 6"BDS and the 7-9" McGaughy, curious why/what's your opinion on them. Thanks

You would be ok with a positive offset but its going to look stupid. IMO. I have mine at a -18 offset with the Fuel Assaults and it came out perfect. I get so many compliments. The tires stick out about the same as this video 2" or so. Gives it a nice custom, semi-aggressive look. If you wanted to keep the wheel under the fender then I don't know why you would spend the money to upgrade the wheels in the first place...again IMO.
