To answer your question of “what made them want Connor up front” directly Morgan, it was because of seniority. Although her and Dani were from the same crab class, Connor was older than Dani. This was her last year in school. They can always turn it down though when the position is offered, and then it would go to the next oldest/crab class. Which it would’ve been Dani. Same thing happened when Dani hurt herself the following year. Her grab sister Ty who came back to dance her last rip was next in line to lead the dolls and Ty straight up said “NOPE.” Lol. Which is why it went to the envy crab class which was 14 and that left Maya who was the only doll from her class to return.

Ok so i see where you were coming from. In order to fully appreciate and be able to critique the dolls with their worth, it is essential to have studied the dolls way back. I came in the door following the J-settled because I knew nothing else. i saw the dolls only on the Bayou Classic field show and it was so chopped that you had no idea what you were seeing. I would love to do a real appreciation of the dolls because i studied them not just their dance but their tenure, majors, where they were from and most of all, how valuable they were as a whole! Look out for the real flowers from me!
