Muzza you never look so good😅, glad you and the family are feeling better, we arrived in Bali last Friday and are now at Lovina, absolutely loving it here, thanks so much for the great advice you all provide 👍🏻

Hi Kevin. I've not been to Lovina. I'm told it's quite an ex-pat area? Perhaps my hubby & I should have a look there? With the new Icon Bali opening in Sanur, everything is different here... well, not everything. Now, the locals, expats perhaps, call Sanur - Sanggu (Sanur/Canggu). Maybe my hubby & I will like Lovina? What do you think?

Thanks Muzza. Good info. I have so many questions. Reckon we could catch up for a chat? I'm only back in Bali for another 6 days 😪 Shout you a beer or two, yeah? I have to work in Oz to support my husband & I. My husband used to work in Sanur, but because I'm always back & forth, it was better that he left that job, so that we could spend time together when I'm back in Bali. He can't get permanent work now because the local Sanur community say he's going to Australia. Yep, that will eventually happen... couldn't get a visa to Oz for him this time 😢 And I seriously need my hubby to help me sort my house in Oz. Maybe to sell, live off the interest from the sale, in Indo. I dunno. Sigh. I already rent out 3 rooms of my house in Oz, almost covers the mortgage. I understand waiting... Indo time. Patience. No probs. It's only been one year so far. I'm a patient person 😅

Well, was planning on visiting, then possibly moving. Then, the new visas and Bali is the land of the rich and infamous! AND, I'm out, can't afford it. I'm bummed! Was looking at a small place on a mountain for meditation and spiritual practice and study, I guess it's back to India. good luck all.

Murray... question. Did you get an Australian wedding licence before you married in Bali? My fiancé and I were in Lombok in April. There was a ceremony to make me Hindu , but it was also our wedding... which I found out the next day 😅 Of course, this wedding is only recognised locally in Lombok and we will need to have a ceremony with the ... well similar to Bali... the banjar, to sign paperwork and make us government-official married. So, when that happens, do I need to get a marriage licence from Australia too? TIA

Oh! We have to make a local Will, in Indo?! Why is an Australian Will not accepted in Indo? If you know.... lol... perhaps I should watch til the end until commenting ☺️

I've arrived into Bali from Perth, WA, 3 times this year, so far. Each time, I paid the Rp150.000 Turis Tax, but nobody checks. Nobody checks my visa either 🤷🏼♀️ I've only ever come in with a VOA but now that I'm non-government married to my Indo husband, I want to eventually get a Spousal KITAS. Or is that a KITAS? Too many questions 😅
@mmerrydeath66733 ай бұрын
There is a few different types if KITAS, spouse is one of them. To apply you would first have to get your marriage recognized by the government. You don't need an Australian marriage license but the local hindu one isn't enough you need an official indo government marriage cert.
