Hi, Does filing an i-290B on a denied I-485 within the stipulated 18days before EAD is revoked keep the EAD valid? Is there anything that can be done to keep the EAD valid?

I have a friend whose US citizen wife refused to work, instead party with friends, putting pressure on him, and inspite of how much he is doing for her, she still decided to apply for food stamp claiming to be single undermining the impact it might cause to the case. It is a terrible situation that immigrants face.

I have a quick question, when filling out DS-260 what if you do not know the answer to previous spouse birthday question and you have no idea where they are...how do you answer that question? the form will show error if you do not answer and there is no additional sheet to explain that you do not know the answer.

My husband have submitted the I-130 and I-130A . This was done online, thinking that he would get the link to submit the other files but that have not happen. We got a response from USCIs that they are reviewing file. Do we wait on USCIS to tell us when and how to submit the other files such as that for work authorization and that of his tax return and so on.

A good friend of mine’s been in the USA since the age of 5. Her mother never made any attempt to apply for her papers. Now that she’s trying to do it on her own with no parental help or support, marriage with 4 kids, her lawyer is tell her she would have to go back to her country and starts all over. I truly believe that there is another way she can go about getting her papers. What advice would you give. I truly want to help her.

You can’t qualify to adjust your status f you were not inspected when you entered in the United States. If you don’t have an I 94 or you were not inspected when you entered the United States it’s almost impossible to adjust your status here unless the country of citizenship is eligible for TPS ? Which can allow that person to travel to her/his country legally after getting the TPS and return building in the process the I 94 which il will allow them for adjust their status here in the United States

This happened to me. I was adopted and my adopted mother never finalized my adoption or filed for me. But the grace of God I have my green card. But I was abused, sexually abused and in and out the foster care system so the department of children’s and families gave me my green card. I guess all the abuse that happened to me helped me get my green cards because if I was never abused and found out I was undocumented I would be stuck

You just described a marriage where the green card was the sole motivation I’m so sorry to hear that and it’s ashamed to break someone’s heart just for a green card nonetheless allow me to tell you that love is the most powerful feeling in this crazy world you can feel from billion miles away to love to to care, to understand, value , to share and to respect at all times if you don’t see none of the above he simply doesn’t love you. There's nothing you can do about it. Because you lied to a USCIS officer at the US embassy in Nigeria to get the visa. Then applied for green card using a fake decree. That is a permanent bar, you will be deported. VAWA can't save you.

If a spouse sabotages you it simply means you’re not in a good relationship therefore the marriage is not authentic someone who loves you will never sabotage you

That’s not always the case…you can be in a good relationship and all that…your spouse can sabotage you over a minimum argument…..

Your comment is not accurate..it’s a lot more than just that..your spouse could sabotage you for any minor reason..could be any stupid reason….there are a lot who are in very very good relationship but the spouse just wanna sabotage based on their mood about something small or minor their foreign spouse did

@@hooksgray7595 You May disagree and May have your own opinion which I respect we’re not talking about teenagers we’re talking about marriage and the foundation of every marriage is love. If you’re an immigrant the green card is your sole way to legally stay in the United States your wife may punish you if you do something wrong to her but she will not sabotage your path to remain in the United States I’m talking about love you’re talking about conditional marriage and please allow me to repeat myself someone who loves you will never sabotage you to love is to understand to care to share and to respect if your wife sabotages you therefore she doesn’t love you which means it’s not a good relationship to be more specific it’s a marriage of interest not a real one . I don’t know anything about you but often we suffer because we fail to understand the true meaning of love someone who loves you my friend will always want what’s best for you

@@trynot2laugh117 I totally agree you couldn't have said it better how could someone who loves you sabotages and prevent you from getting your green card I don't know how old you guys are but like he said someone who loves you will always want your happiness sabotages is synonymous to fake marriage the immigrant is eager to get his green card didn't take time to build the relationship and the Petitioner has doubts about the true motivation of the immigrant being married especially these days doesn't mean there's love the owner of the page said the petitioner would lie not to provide certain information put it all together and be rational those are signs of fake or conditional marriages

What is wrong with sabotaging a green card process? I believe people that are doing that are doing it for a reason. Am NOT saying people should be mean and hurt their spouse. What if their spouse that they worked hard to bring over here is the one being mean and unfair to them..... Remember you are financially liable for them for 10 years I believe. I don't know if there is another to get out of that.....
