As a quilter and in my younger days also a woodturner I found the combination of wood and fabric a fascinating idea.. I'm glad my late husband didn't see this as I would have had to hide my stash of fabric 😊. Beautiful hollow form.

That fold in the cloth that produces the red spot remind me of the red spot on Jupiter. I can see using blue /green/grey white cloths looking like storm clouds. Its certainly a completely unexpected effect. Very cool.

I have been sewing all my life and I thought I knew a fair amount about fabric. So when you said that you were going to cut it on your bandsaw I was talking to the tv saying “no Jim don’t do that!” I was shocked by how neatly that method worked. I think the wood is beautiful as is the finished piece. Very imaginative.

I must tell you when I saw what you intended to do with the fabric I didn't think it would work. I thought you were headed straight for one gigantic mess. However, I was wrong. The fabric addition worked really quite well. In the end you ended up with a very nice turned hollow form. I think it's a cool piece!! Designer Epoxy

Whonwould have thought fabric would work on the band saw?? I laughed and said "that's not gonna work!" But wow, it looks like it cut like butter! This is so cool! I'm not aware of anyone ever doing this... I think you just created a new trend! I know it doesn't do anything for your business, but if I had the money I'd absolutely buy it! It's beautiful, creative, and the whole concept is completely singular! Whoever gets the "first" of this type of bowl is so lucky!
