For painting epoxy on the inside while it's on the Lathe, tape a painter's stirring stick to the handle of the paint brush to bring your knuckles back outside of the cavity. Paint away!

You are right I think red would have been the best color to put in there it would really popped a blood red but it's beautiful vase congratulations

Instead of a torch to rid the air bubbles spritz it with rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. Magic!! ❤

Man I truly wish I could find wood burls like that in Alberta. Unfortunately we have too much of everything but the most beautiful wood that a lot of other countries have in abundance.

You may know this because I didn’t catch the beginning of this video, but total boat does have a deep pore resin and second keep your project cooler which will take longer to say it but less likely to thermal break . It did turn out really very pretty piece though.

This turned out gorgeous! My favorite color and the texture of the wood is stunning! I love that you are unafraid to admit mistakes happen and you effortlessly pivot around them and make them a feature of the piece. In the future, if you want to draw contrast with colors via any cracks like you did here with the white, try using silver or gold for your resin color! It'll be very similar to kintsugi, which is intended to create beauty out of something broken using precious metal to repair broken pottery.

As I was watching I kept wanting you to make multiple globes , this design would look wonderful as globes for planets. Then I changed my mind as you got further into it and i decided that a lamp base with an interior light would bring out the beauty of the piece more. Then i saw the completed piece and fell in love with it as is. wonderful work
