NICE! Thanks for sharing the build and calibration details! A battery tray eh? Had to laugh, I to have a large "good for something" box of miscellaneous stuff (my wife calls it "junk" :) ) waiting to be re-purposed into some project. Probably 5-6 cutting boards in the box - like you have mentioned a couple of times, they're great for many things!

Do you think having the red tubes 90° at the nozzle tip is more effective than say 80° coming from the red tubes? Any tricks to prevent acid burn or streaks? I’ve been told it’s better to use a tiny bit more silver solution than reducer prevent the white streak burns. Red powdered rouge on a cotton ball very lightly massaged on acid burns will remove the milky burn streaks. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!! Awesome job making your videos!!❤
@bryanschauer58675 ай бұрын
Does the insertion length of the red tubes into the tip make a big performance difference? You can also dilute the chemicals if it’s helpful in particular applications. Angel Gilding has a new formulation that reduces the chances of burns that will be made public soon. I just got some and I’m eager to see if there’s an improvement. Thanks again for being so AWESOME!! 👏🏼 ❤

I played around with the angle...90 is best. The most touchy part is not putting to much on...it starts to go black. Flaming the surface before is key.

I've seen several of your videos but only recently subscribed,, but I've been really impressed with your instruction, and theory. But I have a couple questions,,, Have you heard of the AllClad metal sprays, or tried them? And, for your saltwater Lures,, do you use any wire leader ahead of the Lures?
@EngineeredAngler2 жыл бұрын
I have not tried AllClad. I only use wire leaders when I'm trolling in deep water

Im gonna make one this week. Thanks alot...... As soon as i laquer a silvered object it turns yellowish/light gold, is this a common issue? How can i fix this?
@EngineeredAngler Жыл бұрын
You can't use laquer. I recommend you use two part automotive clear coat and tint it slightly with violet resin dye. Check out the tutorials on AngelGilding.com

Great video thanks for the tips! Do you reckon spray chroming lures would give a shinier effect than electro plating lures ?
@EngineeredAngler3 жыл бұрын
While silver is slightly more reflective than chrome, the big benefit is that it is much easier. Electroplating is much more difficult.

Hi can I use normal plastic bottles with hoses from suction pump spray bottles instead of the suction airbrush pots?
@EngineeredAngler3 жыл бұрын
You can use just about any bottle but the larger the bottle The greater the risk of waste and possible contamination of a big volume.

Hi sir....may i know do you use a basecoat or varnish as a base coat so that the chrome liquid can stick to the varnish/basecoat?
@EngineeredAngler2 жыл бұрын
No...I only use one coat of clear epoxy as a base and apply the silver to that.

Hello I wanna to ask you if a can use normal bearings for the spinning mechanism of a certerping style reel. It just I wanna make my own reel for fishing.
@EngineeredAngler3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can, but you should try to get stainless or even better, ceramic. They are smoother and longer lasting.
