Hi Brandon Thank you for your inspiration, guidance and excellent spray art tutorials. I have been spray painting for only a few weeks since watching some of your spray art tutorials. I did not think that I could have produced this sort of art work before. Thank you again.

imdanidays Hi imdanidays I have only been painting three weeks now so I am just learning. I use A3 size 300 gsm (grams per square meter) Glossy coat board. I have an assortment of basic brushes eg, fan brush, fine point soft brush, fine point hard flat brush etc ( a cheap set of 25 brushes). Ordinary dish washing sponges that I bought from the supermarket. These are used for the texture of trees rocks etc. A couple of different sizes of plant pot water dishes (local hardware or plant nursery) for my planet stencils. Pallet knife I bought on line as part of a set $5. Glossy magazine paper and news paper for textures of rocks or planets. I keep our old magazines and use them (women's weekly, National geographic etc). I also have a small set of 24 tubes of oil paints. You can buy these at any art supplies. These are used when I want a small amount of colour (color). You can mix small amounts of different colours together if you are really keen for blending. If you spray clear gloss onto the oil paint it will thin the paint even more and makes application easier. I also have a wooden platform with a post attached at the base so I can turn the board instead of the painting. The board base has a draw attached so I can store my paper stencils and brushes. Hope this helps Cheers

These kind of artists you can find in my hometown for entire season, from june till august. They have couple of places in the towns harbor where they create magnificent pieces. Not that much expensive. 30x30cm for around 10 euros, 50x50 cm for 20 euros and biggest they made (without special order) 70x100 cm for 40 to 50 euros. Awesome stuff.

You can use clear coat to soften it up if it gets sticky. You can do this for the signature too. The waterfall is a poster board with white spray paint on the edge. I am trying to master that part of it and its so hard. So far, I have gotten as far as the moon and the sky lol

@orlyhousesoccer First time I've seen things like this but I think it's the layers of colors he does. You can see the colors he puts before hand and when he uses the magazine, some of the paint sticks to it and some does not. Whatever sticks is from the top layer creating a neat affect. I'm not sure if he really slides it though... if any it's just a little bit.

watch the video again, and pay attention to what colors he sprays where. The trick to spray painting is layers. You'll see him put a color down, then completely cover it with another color. Then when he uses the piece of paper, he's pressing his fingers down and creating the outline of rock formation, and the paper is removing some layers of paint to reveal the bottom layers. That gives it depth.

Great, great work! When painting, do you stress over making a wrong move or are you laid back? And how much of it do you plan? Do you know what will come where or just work with what comes out?
