Spray painting Schutt F7 brand new helmet…(ft.Dad)

If anyone is interested in painting their helmet themselves, I recommend sanding the helmet first with 300+ grit, prime, do a really light first coat of paint, then maybe two more regular coats after. Let it dry for at least 2 hours between coats for best results. If you’re going to use it for game use, chipping will be inevitable with or without a clear coat.

Great paint job, only other thing I’d say to do is to take the helmet apart some more to help allow the helmets moveable plates to do their job without being compromised by dry paint. I’m currently painting a F7 myself. It’s a lil more work but it helps for a cleaner look and safer experience
