What I've learned from her is if you put this same paint on a white base you'd actually get better Holo results. I hope they try again.

@@kellydobberstine5011 idk about this. If it’s anything like nail polish holo flakes get lost on white, you can’t see it nearly as well as on black. He just needed a MUCH higher concentration of holo flake.

I completed this very same paintjob about 15 years ago on a vw sports car for a guy I worked with, high build laquer and a ton of wet sanding but we got the finish like glass! Thanks for the cool reminder!

Once, in Seattle, I saw a man that was driving a '79 Firebird with a metalflake paint job you would see only on a speedboat. It was incredible. To this day I'm not sure if I like it or not...lol. Wow that's amazing how just 5grams of holographic additive can cover that whole car so thoroughly. I think that it would look better with a glossier over coat and different color rims but the holograms effect is on point! I luv ur videos!!
