Today we spray an entire car in the World's Brightest and Greenest Pigment. Like usual, this video was done just for fun. We have no long term testing to confirm if this pigment is suitable for cars long term. This was NOT easy - and is not recommended to replicate.

But it's such a crazy effect! Almost swallows all shadows, and has a similar effect as the blackest black. I love it, it's perfect for project or race cars.

As I understand it, that was actually the idea. The guy started off by developing his own blackest black after the exclusive use of vantablack was assigned to some dude who won’t share, and then when that was successful, he decided to go for the pinkest pink and so on.

@@jakerjac The way vantablack and similar pigments work requires fairly precise ratios and formulas to ensure the particles arrange themselves in a way that creates the darker than black affect. So mixing another pigment with it isn't going to act the way you expect. Now, spraying a layer of this green over the top of vanta black? That could be crazy to look at.

WOW, I wasn't expecting it to come across on video so well. That is crazy bright! I can only imagine how crazy it is IRL! Also, PLEASE consider making a video on a metallic copper-maroon colour, similar to Chevrolet Aztec Bronze. Would love to see it on the SPLBRG S4 or another Audi as a pearls/candy experiment!

Ok, this might sound weird but I really want to see a 2-tone paint job with this and the Musso black... Like old school 8-bit drawing-esque all the edges and corners in the Musso so it just makes everything look like someones lineart for a car.

The fade in from black and white to color was a cool effect with the color. I love the way the bushes still looked black compared to the "greenness" of this color. It would be cool if you guys could leave it on and do some type of durability long term test to see how DYC matte topcoat interacts with their powder long term

After seeing this got me thinking on how well this might work. Spray that as an accent stripe (Like maybe old school SS Stripes) along with a black base surrounding it, and clear over both. Just an idea tossing out.

I absolutely LOVE green cars, I don't know why but if I am able to get a green car I go for it. My favorite green car was my 2003 VW New Beetle in Cyber Green with the lifestyle package that had body matching interior in cyber green/black interior with cyber green inserts in the wheels. Was such a bright green for the time. Loved it, was able to get the 1.8L engine from 180 hp to a little over 300hp at the wheels. Was such a unassuming car.

I have used the orange version of this but mixed with a water based orange tinter & binder rather than a matte clear & did get ok coverage with that. Certainly didnt need this sort of pigment load to get the coverage and luckily didn't really take away from how vivid this powder is.

Now do some kind of crazy two tone with that green and Musou black! With the right technique you could make part of the car look like its missing with such a drastic change in pigments. Maybe paint the doors, hood and trunk Musou black and the rest of the body green or just some kind of creative design.

Still closer to yellow than green IMHO, but way greener than the previous "brightest green" you did before, and it really pops safety yellow at night!!! But all my life I've wanted to see a perfect kelly/emerald green as metallic as possible without being metal-flake. But I can dream, can't I?! ;-)

I have some of this pigment and i can say the video came pretty close to how bright it actually is! I can not imagine being in person, it must have been blinding. I have mixed it in nail polish before and that little bit was almost too much.

I dont think the viewers realize how long it takes to prep and mask a car for paint. You should do a video of the prep work, maybe sped up and a time clock to show the time it takes to do a complete paint job. You guys make it look easy!

As a person who is wearing a green shirt, underwear, and watch band, sitting in a green chair next to a green table and sofa in a room painted green with a green carpet I can say with confidence that was not the greenest green. That was a yellow-ish green. And my drinking glass on the green table is also green. Three guesses what my favorite color is.

I'd put this on a... character car, like a VW Beetle, or a Mini Minor, or the reboots thereof. Or maybe a Lamborghini - a car you already drive to stand out from the crowd. The car needs the personality to carry off the colour, or the colour just overwhelms the car.
