Hi Dennis , I’m spraying a bar cabinet ( cherry ) stained and then sealed with renner 653 sealer which came out great. Now I’m spraying the top coat sealer YO-30U851-NTR. I’m having trouble with it laying down nice. It’s either coming out with some dry like texture or too wet and wanting to run. I’m spraying with Titian 440 impact and running a 210 fine ( purple ) tip. Psi is about 12-1300 psi. Any advice would be great. I am sanding between coats. 320-400 grit. Should I be using a catalyst ? Thanks

Hi Dennis. when we talk about solid colors ...(i do kitchen cabinets refinishing ), i use Bin shellac primer. do u use it also? or vinal sealer tinted?. is it solvent or wb? what brand .. i live in totronto though. does Sherwin williams have it too?. thank u bro. u are the best !!!

These are water-based coatings the tf1525 is a solvent based isolator. That is used basically to seal wood it's applied very thin. Helps. To lock down the mdf because when applying waterbase primer sometimes you can getbthat mdf pop. These are industrial coatings. Renner is brand. But if your in Canada look into envirolak that's a Canadian coating. Works very good and is next level

This might be a dumb question, but what does vynalsealer do? Is it like a clear coat?

Seals and raises the grain fibers. Then you sand smooth and you apply top coat.
