Interesting video Tyler. Mechanical issues are never fun but I am sure youll figure out a solution amd would be interested in the process, plus its all about content. Though not a advocate of any inputs, since mother nature figured it out years ago, enjoyed seeing the application. Liked the use of light weight vechical to apply. Gas savings and rutting reduction. Am sure there's a naural way to beat broadleaf and would be excited to join you in its solution thereby eliminating the need and more importantly time/money. Anyway thanks for sharing. Chciałbym jednak żeby te swoje filmy kręcił w zdrowiu jeszcze długie lata. always thought a 6x6 utv with a gooseneck 300 gallon sprayer on some light tracks would be slick deal. never sprayed a hay field with 2-4-D, this is my first time growing grass hay so in alfalfa we always use "select or volunteer" to kill grasses. I have to kill crab grass in spring so it don't harm alfalfa. hoping by switching to grass hay mixes I no longer have to worry?!

Awesome video. I spray some of my food plots with 24D every year. There’s is definitely an art in terms of application rates consistency when spraying with a pull behind sprayer and a wheeler. Check out Bestway sprayers bud. I bought one of their UTV mounted systems and mounted mine on a pallet and use my loader/pallet forks on my tractor to raise and lower it on my uneven terrain. If u send me an email I’d love to share some pics of my setup. ( no I do not work for Bestway lol)

Is the sprayer yours? This is just my idea, but If it was mine, I would make it so it sits in the bed of the kubota, get ride of that gas engine, and use a 12 volt pump, or a hydraulic pump (to reduce weight). If that sprayer was made to sit in the bed, you'd have less wheels on the ground, running over less plants, especially on the turns.
@farmertylerranch4399
@farmertylerranch4399 4 жыл бұрын
No it’s not mine but I’ve been wanting to do something like what you’re describing for awhile. 100 gallon tank on a skid with a pump that sits in the bed and a boom that mounts in the receiver hitch (or something). Then no trailer to fuss with, less wheels on the ground and less likely to get stuck!

Hate to Spam you my friend. But do you have any experience with the hydrostatic motors they are using on lawn mowers and I know John Deere side by sides. Have 2 Kubota mowers down and 2 John Deere gators. Neither shop is helpful about changing them out/ interchange between brands etc or even repair. The standard line I get is, You’ll have to buy a new one. But I figure one motor bad the other/others can’t be far behind and at 2k plus a motor that’s a healthy investment in an older machine. Got one single axle drive gator and a tandem so 4 or 6 times 2k plus change hits me hard. Anyone chime in Please.
