You should have many more subs than you actually do have! Another master class! I've learned a lot from you and took on painting my own car with what you teach through this channel, it was a plastic bumper on my VW golf wagon. I did it in two parts, one side in cellulose lacquer after base coat, of course... Then the other in 2K, the 2k was hands down the better job, to work with and looks the best overall. Like you've said and allude to repetitively, prep. is everything! It took and takes me longer to mask up surrounding areas than to get the paint on, but a different process all together too, a job in itself, I suppose! Thanks again, love from Everton, U.K.

Nice!! Nice!! Nice!! awesome finish Gabe you are one talented painter, I do like these longer video's I find them more engrossing and I seem to get more out of them (probably because they are longer, haha), oh I was watching an old video from Jordan Salt he was at some painters exhibition and I'm sure I saw you in a pic with him and a couple more people, do you know him? Jordan has been helping me get the best out of the new clearcoat he has just released and it's amazing! John UK.

Yeah so is his clearcoat, I recommend it to anyone and it's very cheap, don't know if you can get it outside UK yet though.

Yeah I will hopefully be the exclusive distributor of it here in Canada!
@JohnWD40TC024 жыл бұрын
Awesome Gabe, I hope you do well from it, even though it's a MS clear it lays down like an HS so is a higher solids than normal MS, I've got some of his basecoat and thinners coming tomorrow to test out, I'm trying to use the Multi-Mix full range so every stage is the same make, can't wait.

Honestly in my opinion no, the insurance companies have killed the trade and then there’s all the poisonous, cancerous chemicals..Maybe if you can find a decent restoration company as that can be very satisfying.

I’ve been painting for for nearly 30 years and you still have a lot to learn, try and do your edges first, trigger off more and be a bit more uniform, you seem very wafty in your application....nice to see you enjoying painting tho.
