Loving the tractor. I haven't gotten to use it for much yet, but ran into a problem yesterday that, without the tractor wouldn't have gotten solved. I found a heavy piece of slate mixed into the results of a garage cleanup. I'm pretty sure it was from a billiards table. A friend who's in ROTC and I couldn't lift it, so I put the forks on, did a bit of maneuvering, and onto the forks and into the dumpster it went. The tractor projects are going to happen soon. 1. my neighbors had a junk pile of leaves, sticks, and sapling trees behind their garage which spilled a bit into my yard, and I ignored. The new neighbors cleaned their side up. I have ~8-10 saplings to knock down, that ground then needs to be flail mowed, and tilled, then grass seed planted. I also need to clean up an adjacent area used for bees. 2. the top of the back yard was messed up when concrete was removed. I have a pile of mixed soil and gravel that needs to be separated. Once separated the dirt needs to go to the top of the yard, and the gravel behind the garage. 3. the top of the back yard needs to be leveled 4. the gravel "driveway" behind my garage needs to be land planed and leveled, and more gravel added 5. I need to run power to the front parking pad which was poured to charge my Volvo XC90 Recharge hybrid 6. I need to apply ~2 cubic yards of sand to my front yard to level it 7. there is a group of sugar maples in my back yard which are now mature enough to blot out the grass. I need to put down mulch there, and it's difficult to access, so a front end loader will make that take an hour instead of days

Hello Tim.. found your channel at a very good time. Just replaced our old MF210-4, with a new 1025r w/ backhoe. We live on just under 3 acers . The 1025 is agile, very maneuverable . First job was to remove a long row of overgrown lilacs with massive root systems. With technique and patience the hoe got the job done. Very nice, little tractor. I see why you are fond of yours. Thanks for this channel and for being "Gods man". bob

First. Nice use of wood chips for compost and mulch. You can turn the chips to make more compost too. From the color of the soil it's clear there is new chips and more composted material. Red = chips Dark Brown = soil.

Wood chips as they decompose actually remove more nitrogen from the soil then they add. As they decompose, they become more slow release nitrogen. Compost is more of a soil amendment than it is a fertilizer. Compost is about a 1-1-1 fertilizer at best. You will see in your grass what is happening with nitrogen. It may take several more years for it all to break down. Do a soil test and adjust the pH so the fertilizer becomes available.

I want to thank you for teaching so much about 1, 2 and 3 series tractors. When I purchase my 1st small place I'll now have a good understanding to purchase the right size tractor for the given property size. And also, I know that skid steers and excavators have their place but the tractor with bucket and 3 point seems rather universal. The excavator might have more uses if it's on wheels like those in europe but here I'm not so sure. But I really love the 3 series seems to be a great all rounder
