Every member of Take 6 has such a pure soul. They inspired Jacob and many others but you can see they are so humble and gracious.

I've always loved Take 6 since the late 80s...Up until 2020 I never knew Jacob. The moment I found Jacob, I was out mowing the grass in August, and whatever playlist I had going on Spotify ran out and gave me a suggested song...Moon River, who I thought at the time was Take 6. I was so impressed at first, I was thinking that it was cool. As the song went on I kept hearing more and more intricacies that were blowing my mind, and probably the last 2 minutes I was broken in tears sitting in the middle of my driveway. I thought, Oh man! Take 6! wait! I never looked down at my phone, who's this Jacob Collier kid? Well, needless to say I'm just opening up to this new universe of Jacob's music. Not a day goes by that I don't get a new revelation of the genius and the emotional intelligence. I'm so glad that old friends like Take 6 are sprinkled all the way throughout his universe. You can hear the influence everywhere. Thank you for being mentors, teachers, friends, and thank you Take 6 for your music, of which I'll always be a fan!

This young man is from another spiritual dimension. He is like a modern day Mozart. He inspires me. Everything he does comes from a place of non ego and is filled with love. I feel blessed to be able to listen and learn from him...Love & Light

I looove how he has them just grinning & nodding in acknowledgement & recognition like when he talked about how he used his early mic & tech & when he said that the 2nd time he heard their tune, he tried to figure out the 7th harmony part. Lovely meeting of minds,

I loved watching this. I just had tears in my eyes the whole time. Take 6 and Jacob Collier, thanks for this experience. To me, music is (Take 6 and Jacob Collier), every other form of music is secondary. I have all the Take 6 songs I can get in my phone and have watched your videos on KZbin countless times. I feed on Jacob Collier and Take 6 daily. It has sort of become like an addiction. I have scored Claude's part on several Take 6 songs. I am glad to have listened to your music, both of you. Thanks to you. I am also an Adventist from Nigeria, just side note. Also Aeolians my best choir. Cant get enough of you all

I think my very first hearing of either Jacob and/or Take 6 was that whacky beyond beautiful rendition of "All Night Long". Thank you to both of you. Jacob is an ocean wide, canyon deep of music, and Take 6, simply put, I L - O - V - E U!

The exceptional humility of Take 6 to be so brilliant and yet show interest and love towards Jacob. And then being Jacob to collaborate and be a peer of guys you grew up listening to. Such joy in both scenarios ❤

I met Dr. Cedric Dent yesterday at Middle Tennessee State University after he finished a rehearsal & after he played a piano arrangement of This is My Father’s World. Totally beautiful. Got to speak with Dr. Dent as he was leaving. What a genuinely nice guy.

Because so many people today are extremely unsophisticated about what is truly music talent. They don’t speak the language of music. IMO
