This is where it's recommended to run. It can run pretty loose just the looser it is the greater chance of jumping off the sprockets especially in freezing weather if you don't make sure it moves freely.

@@Mad_Farmer912 so as long as you make sure the chain moves before you load it should be fine??? How much was a new chain if you don't mind me asking?? Mine be alittle more it's a 680 same chain I'm sure just longer

@@massey375 yeah most of the time an apron breaks or jumps off a sprocket is because it was froze to the floor. It was just shy of $900.

Even though they looked fine and weren't wore that bad I just moved them to opposite sides so it's wearing on the other side of the teeth.
