I love the concept of this archetype, especially with their Rank 8 and how it pops cards (though I wish it was a Quick Effect, though I guess not making it one makes it work like the Battleground board game and keeps with that theme). I just hope Lightning Overdrive gives them some more support that makes them not as reliant on Dogmatika and their Field Spell to survive, though those cards likely won't be cut from the Deck even after new support, especially the Field Spell.

The new fusion was designed to be specifically very difficult to play. Albaz's effect is super poly but only itself and opponent's monsters, and the new fusion is Albaz + a monster that was special summoned *that turn*. So outside of decks that specifically play on your turn it's never going to be worth playing Albaz for this new fusion. Admittedly a lot of decks can summon on your turn, but its out of your control.

You can pull albaz from your deck at the end phase with clad it may not be good now but with time it may be good

Bet that once they are done designing all the 'void' archetypes, they'll design a card that will special summon Albaz from the deck. Then Albaz would finally be playable. It will probably come in about 2 or 1 archetypes, 1 synchro and maybe a fusion one (maybe sense Albaz technically could count as the fusion one).

Makes sense in this deck at least. Dogmatika package enables the Sprigguns Albaz fusion and gives them some additional plays past just their XYZ.

@@BoltSpider i personally only care for pure builds. I don’t care about mixing 3 different archetypes then calling it a (insert archetype name here) deck when there’s only 3 cards from that archetype being played. I have only mixed archetypes if they have lore lol. Like Dogmatika x Tri-Brigade
