Correct, Reflection can bounce Selene to bounce an opponent's card, but doesn't get the counters, Master however resolves without negating unless the card is bounced specifically to the hand. This is on Konami's official ruling updates from DUOV's release.

I personally like the pure metalfoe combo better than the magicians' souls combo. It's more fun and feels more free rather than sticking to the same end-board of calamaties, appolousa, vortex every time. I guess it reminds me of a simpler time when people relied on boss monsters like alkahest rather than generic negates.

This build doesn't use the new cards as much, it's mostly what the deck currently can do with Souls. I prefer playing Odd-Eyes Dissolver which has fusion synergy with the M'Foes over the Endymion/Jackal as Souls target. It saves extra deck space also, as it can fuse for the Vortex instead of summoning off Absolute Dragon. The Level 9 is borderline broken with Astrograph/Electrumite - hoping we get atleast one of them gets unbanned. Amalgam is better than what it looks like.

I personally wouldn't play Endymion in there as you need to cripple your board for it to be live. Rather go for Jackal King with Selene as he can at least build spell counters on it's own, which gives you the option to link Selene off. It'll be easy enough to activate at least 1 spell to make Jackal live. The only cards you won't be able to get through that way are board wipes, which a smart player will try to bait you on anyway.

The Lv 9 Metalfoes has the true king Agnimazud stats, and if you remember the metalfoes were the enemies of Agnimazud. Sooooooo, maybe in the future we may get a similar monster with the Zoodiacs and the Crystrons (with Lithosagim and Barasthos stats respectively) which means there may be some future support for these 2 archetypes. Just think about it.

in the game you open 2 volflame 1 melcaster 1 silvert and where art thou, i think yo should go for link spider, pop melcaster get back silvert, summon it with link spider then go for phoenix, then linkross to save the pendulum summon.

I know Instant Fusion is at 1 but it might help out the deck some in getting out Azothles. It can summon Adamante and Alkahest and they work as either material for Azothles.

This is an example of a fair combo deck. Ban VFD and this specific deck is balanced. Linkross was actually pretty smart to use as free material for Metalfoes destructions.

In the second replay you say that endymion would be able to negate but because he says "return to the hand, and if you do" the monster with counters has to go to your hand for you to negate it so you'd lose your selene for nothing

I think it's a bit more iffy, since elec is better than bardiche is. Its crazy to think but it being a link 3 and not being able to be used as link material is huge. They also have other options if they want to push pendulums.

Probably should dump Jackal off of souls so you can revive off of Selene and play around Nibiru pre-pendulum summon. Also vortex's bounce effect will miss timing if you summon it off of absolute being used for I:P's effect as it's a when effect.

Suggestions: - Odd Eyes Performapal dissolver as a Souls traget: It can bring out Vortex Dragon more easily. Send it with souls, reborn souls with sheep, go into selene to reborn dissolver. - Time Star Magician and Dragonvein magician: Something wort testing, if you play Rescue Rabbit. Time Star searches souls.

Metalfoes are more resource management based though. They're not as good at putting up a bunch of negates but compensate by having a good grind game and recursion. Unfortunately in this meta that's not always enough. Also lol going 2nd pends in general aren't bad, even in metalfoes they can run super poly better than almost any other deck because of the level 9 fusion. Idk you just seem salty and pends for some reason, you don't even know what you're talking about.
