Love the video ,thank you for sharing. I have a small variegated string of hearts and I would love to know how to propagate them , they are so beautiful. Also I have a few Sanseveria but I agree I LOVE the starfish cylindrical Sanseveria . It’s such a unique plant

do you have a video on pest control or what to watch out for ?
@teganmiller24415 жыл бұрын
Thank you for mentioning the bulbs on your string of hearts! I've had mine for about 8 months and noticed those bulbs in the last few months. I tried the classic Google method to try and figure out if it was normal or if my plant was in distress and never found an answer. I truly enjoy watching your videos because I always learn something! I never expected to find the answer to my months old question in this tour video! I was about to give my string of hearts a drastic haircut to remove all the bulbs out of misplaced concern! I'd love to see a video on planting them up if you find the extra time!

I am dying to know. You have a succulent in a white ceramic planter on the far right end of a windowsill. It looks like a multitude of upturned fingers radiating out of a bumpy center. What on earth is it? Please tell us more!
@phileofarm15 жыл бұрын
Janet Ursel, absolutely! That is an Euphorbia inermis! It is one of the Medusa head euphorbias, and probably one of my personal favorites. Ive had it for about 3-4 years now, and it’s quite an easy keeper! As long as it gets enough light and a drink every month or two, it does well. It’s a fairly slow grower, but mine has many new arms over the last few years, they just take months to grow each arm. They are beautiful though, and I’d highly recommend owning one! ❤️❤️💗 ❤️❤️🙏🏻

It is truly wonderful. I hope I find one someday

What do you do when you see tiny bugs flying around?
@phileofarm15 жыл бұрын
sabrina m, depends on what type. Here most of the flying bugs aren’t super harmful to most of my plants... fruit flies or gnats are a bit annoying but don’t usually cause too much damage to the types of plants I have. Do you know what kind of bugs they are?
@sabrinamei8285 жыл бұрын
@@phileofarm1 I have no idea, I just know that they're just black and keep flying in my face all the time. I just replaced the potting soil that kept holding all the water on this one plant with a cactus-succulent mix instead
@phileofarm15 жыл бұрын
sabrina m, changing the soil is a great choice, you could also get some sticky traps and put one in the pot that has the most bugs and see if you can get rid of them that way. 💗

Miss you! Hope you are doing alright 💚 You're the first plant KZbinr I ever watched. Most of my succulent knowledge comes from you. I can't tell you how many times I've watched all of your lithops videos!! I've really grown into the hobby and I've actually been keeping some lithops alive this year. Got them in early spring and they're getting ready to bloom! I'm so excited lol

Hi Ashley, Can you tell me the name of the plant at 13:33 in the video. My niece has one that was etiolated, so we cut off the long piece, cut shorter stem pieces and pulled off the leaves that were growing down and everything in a propagation tray. Repotted the long piece. It was a beautiful succulent--I hope it survives our treatment! Thanks.

Hey Ashley, sometime in the future can you talk about how and when to use grow lights as well as which types you use for specific plant families? Aspiring succulent and cacti nerds want to know. ;-)

Love seeing your back and all your plants. Can’t wait to see more I bought two mini string of hearts n they arrived bare root first were small cuttings w bulbs n 2ns was beautiful longer cuttings with tuber n roots but they still didn’t make it. Everything I see online says so easy to grow. Wish I knew what I did wrong. Wow yours has a lot of tubers. Had no idea they get that big on vine. Why not place a pot of soil n let them root until u get to them ? Thank you n looking forward to your re potting and proper care info. Blessings
