Jellyfish Can't Swin At Night is one of the most beautiful and inspiring animes I've seen in years. The characters are beyond lovable, the crushed dreams are spicy af, the music, OST and in world efforts, are spectacular, and the overall feeling is intense. This is one of the animes I do NOT miss weekly.

I know I’m late but… My favorite this season was definitely ‘Girls band cry’. And as much as I enjoyed ‘Jellyfish can’t swim in the night’… it doesn’t beat Girls band cry for me especially the depth and quality of the music. The band in the anime all have rookie VAs… all of them were casted for their abilities to play their instrument/sing and then they were taught how to voice act just for the anime. The band therefore also exists irl (it’s called Togenashi Togeari). The official Girls band cry YT channel also started releasing song of the band like 8 month before the anime release (all songs released before the anime came out are not in the anime) and then almost every week we had a new song that was in the anime! Girls band cry has amazing animation, storytelling and characters! Definitely something I can recommend!

Also, Kaiju No.8 is looking like an absolute banger. The comedy is a bit much for me, but I'm a picky bitch. Otherwise, the story is mega intriguing.
