Really enjoy watching your videos, you do a great job editing. Up here in Alaska we're getting a bit over 19hrs of daylight right now. Shooting one and then having to wait 4-6+hrs for pick-up would be stressful but you made a smart call not going after it. Glad you had such a great time and thanks for the footage.

Congratulations on a great bear. Great show watching those color phased performing stretching exercises for you. That was big boar coming in at dark. Shot my black boar in Canada ‘94 with compound at 10 yards. It was rush to say the least. My guide also said we will come back in the morning. Bear was ~450#

I didn't pay much attention to the wind, since I really couldn't do much about it anyway, plus I was more concerned about not falling out of the tiny stand haha. Old grumpy Hunter shot a really nice one! I'm hoping he does a video on it! I'll include a little bit in my next video.

Pretty awesome Mr. DA, what should happen is being able to hunt with a semi slug gun cause im too cheap to buy 2 separate guns. Tried crossbow during rifle last year up by you in Towanda, sounded like Vietnam with all the sounds coming from the trees! Public land of course, couldnt quit fill my 2 tags during archery:(

Rich, I had a cub climb my tree years ago. His mom was nearby so it was pretty exciting. I ended up having to poke him (by hand I didn't shoot him) in the nose with a broadhead.

Up here in northern ontario I went today to check the trail cameras. Nothing with me, bears are around, very uneasy feeling. For the first time saw a young moose of one camera will is super exciting. This year is crossbow time. Already shot 3 deer with a rifle. Still not sure about shooting a bear. Never had bear meat.

Weve had alot of really aggressive coyotes on our property this year. Most encounters have been within 40 yards. With a bow i definitely felt uncomfortable. Gun season i felt fine though 😂. Im not sure how id feel woth that many bears in front of me and only one shot to take. Lol
