I just started watching your videos, Ally, and am really enjoying them! Don't you love the peepers in the Spring? When I hear them here, in western NY state, it's still pretty chilly, but we've had a couple of warmer days, then snow again... Spring seems so far away. Then I hear the peepers and know the warmth is coming very soon! By the way, Love your Aunt Erin's Irish sweater. It's beautiful! I've only heard of tapping birches for sap in Scandinavia, never here. It's really cool you are doing it. And conscious that it has to be done very carefully so as not to harm the tree. Perhaps my upbringing! My dad instilled a strong work ethic in me and we were outside often. I like being self reliant as well, so being hand on is a part of it :)
