I would have never thought to dress up wood. I have learned so much watching you. I took your idea of the toilet tissue roll gift card holders and enlarged the idea to dress up brown gift bags in the same way. They turned out so cute. I made the bags and gift card holders to match.

Hi Susan. I do a lot of decoupage, and most of these napkins are from Amazon. A couple of things in the video are decoupage paper or tissue paper, also from Amazon. I also have that same distress ink and similar stamps, all from Amazon. I hadn't used much of those stamps or ink in a long time because I hadn't thought to use them with my decoupage stuff, but now I see how I can incorporate all of it together. Glad I found this video!

Thanks for sharing this. I have some pieces of wood I've been trying to figure out what to do with. If you don't have antiquing ink, you can use a dab of brown paint on a round painting sponge. Test on the edge of a piece of paper first and when the amount and touch are right, you can use it other painted surfaces. With the paint, you only need a little dab.
