We join Andy on the banks of Arena, home of his recent challenge victory to take a look at how you can nick a few bonus big carp at the end of your session whilst the weather is still warming up.

Mate that Arena lake is insane, there is NOTHING little in there, even the 'little' ones are five or six pound, make sure your tackle is robust.

Hi guys i fish a place were a lot of carp are caught down the edge, at first you catch them but after a while you get linered out, doesnt matter if you cut the feed back or carry on, the peg seems to change after catching a few. even if you rest the peg and go back it never gets back to how it was at first any tips? Or is it just one of those things, everyone on the last match lost foul hooked fish down the edge.

Edge fishing can be the best when everything is right, but when there not proper in edge and your behind and start over feeding etc etc can be so frustrating

I had 60 pound out of the edge first hour back in January. Couldn't get my head around it. Crashing a method in too. Was unreal.

Silly Question. Why not do this with a method feeder?
@WinningWays
@WinningWays 2 жыл бұрын
Because you catch less. Being able to read what’s going on in your peg on your float is vital. Plus a pole is more accurate and less disturbance.

Could you do a video on how people under 18 can get involved in fishing matches as I have been fishing for about 8 years now and would love to start being more competitive and think it would be helpful for lots of people as there doesn’t seem to be much information on that topic.
