So I’ve got back into fishing after a few years out. Always used to, and started to use my old methods again. Lots of hemp, with a big piece of meat fished on the bottom. Getting a lot of of activity, but lots of line bites, and smaller fish. Tried your method today…… unbelievable! Hardly any feeding, single 8mm pellet, came home knackered after catching so many carp, keep up the good work 👍

if ever, anyone doubted Jamies ability - watch this and please understand how easy he makes this look. Andy's reactions prove my point as he is by no means a mug either. But he appreciates how good this really is. Genius!
@markdavies66202 жыл бұрын
Master class from Jamie Hughes, mugging carp, catching down the edges, finesse and everything in between, the guy can do it all. Just watching him operate is as good as any give away prize, and he has Andy May in company, another top tier tremendous angler, Andy May cracks the jokes and goofs around, and plays down how good he really is, but we all know. Congratulations to all at Winning Ways, by far the best fishing videos around, along with Shipps tips of course !

Fantastic to watch. asking a few question . 1. What tick boxes need ticking to consider using this method. 2. With all the other methods out there i watched you both use. what is it at the fishing venue that triggers that fishing method. what approach do you use in deciding its a pellet feeder, bomb, waggler, etc. its no wonder you need a van with the amount of tackle you need to take to a venue.
@chrisblackwell23732 жыл бұрын
If Jamie is looking for some pasty pellets, the Yamitsu wheatgerm sinking pellets that i feed my koi, in Autumn/Winter may be worth a look. I will be giving them a go next year when the weather warms up as they sink quite slowly, about 20 seconds in 4ft of water.

Here is a challenge idea. Kids here in the Netherlands tend to start fishing with 3, 4 or 5 meter telescopic pole. So here is the challenge. You may use 2 poles of those lengths (no elastic). A veneu with smaller and less angry fish Bait, maggot, corn and bread and one type of groundbait. Who can catch the most. A species the other one doesn't have is extra points

It will generally be how they want the bait presented, sometimes you need to make some noise, slapping it infront of them and other times proper sneaking it in. Try both, watch the reaction and hopefully you'll start to work them out.

Im pretty sure its the fine mesh 45 cm -- but it might be the 50 cm. I used to have the 45 fine mesh and landed doubles no problem, I found it much better than other nets BUT the fine mesh I found can become and quite quickly a victim of the carps spines and small rips on occasion so holes need to be mended ( i sow them with 6lb mono).
