There was 24-36 hours here where a lot of guys were running tillage on frozen ground last week. Then we all got froze out, now it's just sloppy and slimy again! That time of year!

I just watched your video from 2019 where you lectured at your university - LOVED it!! Seriously, we are your parents age (our daughters are your age, so just figuring they are our age) - they must be SO proud of you!! I love learning about farming and where my delicious steaks come from...but these videos are about even more than that - I love seeing the relationship between you and your dad. There is so much care between the two of you. Genuine care and affection. And it shows. I love his "dad jokes" (as they are known here in our family)! I love that you are getting a university education...and bringing that back to the table. There is such a need for exactly what you and your family are doing. And what a great life you guys have made for yourselves. Please, get your Mom more - I bet she's as awesome as your Dad :-) Thanks, also, for sharing so much during this Covid time....such a nice break from the stress of it all...Hugs to each of you in the still frigid north - from my family here in Florida (not a big fan of Florida....we're outa' here in 5 years!).

Hey Cole! Ferting was one of my jobs when I was on the farm, It's a good job as you are pretty much self sufficient. We also used to grow alfalfa which we would chop for winter feed or bale for likewise. It was a handy dumping ground for cattle slurry during the winter and spring and was for the most part a haven for picking wild mushrooms in the Autumn.

I cant believe its still winter up there...lol Im a 5th generation Native Floridian and have only seen snow when it snows down here...like 2 times in my life...lol It has been in the upper 80's for a month now!! We have been sweatin!! I also cant believe the amount of mud you have up there! I thought that was just us...in the summer..and then we get mosquitoes!! Yike!! 😁

There was never a time these last weeks to get it done before we moved cattle in there. Either still snow on ground or too muddy. Not ideal but the hand we are dealt lately. It doesnt hurt anything.
