She wants people to know that she uses her own products because she likes them and she hopes others will to. I've always had the same perspective. Michelle seems like a pretty trustworthy person; I doubt she would be advertising her makeup if it didn't work for the tutorials she's showing us. I'm sure there are other substitues that would work fine, but it's one she trusts and helps her make money in the process.

Yes, I understand that some would want to see her use a different product. I too would want to see her use a more affordable alternative. But some are going a little bit overboard and act as if she's doing something wrong. I find that extremely rude. It's not like she forced them to use her products. They could still find a cheaper alternative with the same colour/shade . And yes, I too think that she's venturing towards business right now. I think it really doesn't matter which products she uses as long as she likes them because whatever product its is, if it's in her video it will automatically be "promoted" - regardless if it is chanel or something more affordable like rimmel ...and I honestly think it's so authentic of her to use her own products.
