Enjoying watching your journey so far, and the Ant footage, how ingenious they are.

That circular thing you uncovered could either be an old well or a closed off fosse (septic tank) it should be on your plans.

Thank you...We will have a look!

The circular area could be an “Eira” or threshing floor for grain, many old houses had these.

Yes it could be! … more likely a patio though given the size of the garden in Airbnb

Beautiful Video from an OS enthusiast! I’ll check my maps, particularly the Train line & vista location?

The train line was the Entroncamento to Castelo Branco line 😀

We visit the market in Estremoz every now and than, although antiques and secondhand goods are fairly overprized (but that's kind of everywhere in PT). It's the 12th of January, early in the morning and the sun is out shining bright here in Barbacena (just 10 minutes from Aronches), but the nights are actually quite cold. Nice to see a video again. Where was the border crossing? Is that close to Aronches? There seems to be a big market once a month on the Spanish side. (If you are so close to it, remember getting a bottle of gas (butamne or propane) in Spain is 50 percent cheaper!) Wondering how your farm looks now after some rain, the world around our place is completely green again. Lots of calves and lams in the fields. Looking forward to the next video! All the best from Barbacena.

Yes, the border crossing is where you said, and we often 'pop over' to Spain to get shopping and fuel, much cheaper there! Our land is very green at the moment with gorgeous wildflowers everywhere.. more of that in a later video!
