Spring Journal, new formula Fabriano Hot Press

This journal was a bit of a challenge, because the paper surface has changed and I had to search for a medium that I liked on it! I powered on through, though, and reached the end satisfied.

You persevered and I learned so much from all the things you tried, what I like best though is making a gratitude list. I am thankful for so many things, one is the joy watercolor painting has brought me ( I am a late learner, began in my 60’s a little over two years ago). Before I took photos of my favorite places & things (flowers), now my eyes and senses are awake to being there, enjoying the moment as I sketch and paint.
