Spring Makes and 1K Winner Announced

In this video, I share most of my garment makes from March, April and May. I did work on some other non garment sewing projects but I wanted to focus on my garment sewing.

Ironically, for the majority of my spring sewing makes, I used Think Pink Sewscription Box fabrics. I purchase the Think Pink fabric subscription box service from Beyond the Pink Door. The fabric for the Seasons of East Summer in New York Dress came from Higgs and Higgs fabric store.

Some of my photos didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. It was raining when I took the picture of the Seasons of East dress, and I had trouble getting a good picture. And, LOL, I cut my head off again.

I just love the Regalia blouse!!! All your garments are pretty, but the Regalia blouse is definitely my favorite. You've been really busy. I'm impressed with how successfully you manage to use your Think Pink fabrics. I would encourage you to go back over your box of machine feet and look at them one more time before you order a new concealed zipper foot. Not that long ago I turned my sewing room upside down trying to find a foot, and in the end it was right there in the box; somehow I'd managed to overlook it. Maybe, I'm the only one who's ever done something that dumb, though. I got a chuckle when you said you used a random number generator to pick your winner. The last birthday cake I made for my son was chosen by a random number generator. He couldn't decide on a flavor or icing, so he numbered them and chose with the generator. It was a strawberry cake with white chocolate icing. (I sometimes make icing with pudding and Dream whip and white chocolate was a flavor of pudding I had at the time.) Congratulations to Diane. I hope she finds a gorgeous fabric to celebrate your milestone.

Yum. His cake sounds delicious 😋. This is the first time I have ever used a number generator. It was fun. I’m glad I am making a dent in my Think Pink fabrics. I have accumulated quite a few. Hopefully, I will get another one sewn soon. I’m definitely going to look again for the concealed zipper foot. I know it has to be there somewhere. 🤔

Lovely makes! And so many! How many voted for each choice in your draw, ie, how many for Indie etc, I would love to know?

It was interesting to see the results. Sixty percent prefer sewing with Indie patterns. 20 percent preferred Big 4 and 20 percent sews both.

The pattern is the Sew House Seven Regalia Blouse. You can purchase it in print or pdf format directly from Sew House Seven or some other online fabric shops. The fabric came from Beyond the Pink Door online shop. I received it last year so I don’t think it is in stock. She may have a similar viscose fabric in stock though.
