From a child of 80's Georgia Farming family..........Technology of today is amazing. We used landscape marker points for planting and never had perfect rows. If you were off, you were off x 12 rows. So, it was really noticeable. The width you guys cover per pass is amazing. I really enjoy the videos. Brings back a lot of memories. The early 80's drought hurt us. So, we were able to sell out at the right time. But, I was so lucky to have grown up on a farm and experience that life. All the life lessons I learned are priceless.

Hiya from the damp flat bit of England between Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester! There are some uprated versions of that 13-speed Fuller out there, with the first two numbers corresponding approximately to the torque capacity in lbf/ft (I used to be a truck applications engineer for Foden Trucks, the UK arm of Paccar, and these went into 4000 Series trucks - basically a UK Kenworth K100). TSO 15613, TSO 16613 and I think also TSO 17613 although the latter I expect will be rare. Finding one of those and treating it to modern lub oil may just give you a bit more steel and a bit less cheese. I always enjoy your vids, they are a weekend must-watch. See ya

Makes me wonder how hard it would be to put a different unit into the Bud with the truck bell housing. Or if there would be room for maybe a triple of quad counter shaft unit out of a heavy haul truck... Although 30 years is pretty solid for the constant load the tractor puts on the transmission.
