Spring Small River Channel Catfish!

Classic spring channel catfish fishing! A quick day trip to catch a bunch of fish in a local river. These fish are the perfect size to eat. We call it selective harvest. Eating fish in this size range keeps large/trophy catfish numerous to catch and spawn. The more large catfish the more smiles and memories for you and your loved ones!! What's better than a photo or video of a 30 pound fish in your arms and being released, then taking home a stringer full of smaller eater size fish. With more and more people enjoying fishing we need to remain conservation minded and manage our precious resources. I love to eat fish although I did not keep any this trip. Please consider letting those big fish go and enjoy a plate of smaller, more numerous and better tasting fish of any species. Thanks for watching!
