Yes, the smallmouth are excellent above Huntington. Way more than just cats and carp. The white bass and crappie fishing can be good as well.

It was a blast, now I have to get back into my routine. When they shut everything down it effected the time I had to put into my channel and it fell off. Now I am going to try to grow it again. We was missing one of my sons on this trip, he's not really into outside lol

@@Twitchisatrick I haven't hunted in quite a few years. It gets so crowded here on public land. My father in law has property but he don't want me killing any deer or turkey, he don't hunt.

@@TwiztedFishingTv . Yeah it does get crowded on public. Last season it seemed like everyone from the city was hunting I couldn't believe it. I was going to Roush. I ended up going to salamoine there wasn't that many people. If you can get into shooting some arrows it doesn't get so bad usually during the week but weekends it's a different case. I usually use the people to my advantage though lol. Oh no one of those people's. I bet some good hunting on his property. I bet his neighbors if he has any love that he don't hunt lol either way they getting killed natural or by the neighbors. I wished these people in the suburbs and outskirts of the fort would let me hunt there land cause the deer are always getting hit messing up people's cars. I only hunt public. It really ain't that bad just gotta be more mobile

I am getting back on it. The family took over a lot of my time since 2020, now it's getting back to a "normal" routine.

I have fished and lived here for over 30 years, never had issue. I love these rivers.

I eat cats, just not eating anything from these rivers. I prefer the 4# and under to eat though.

They was hid up under the shade during high sun, then later in the evening on the weed edges hitting top water. We used weightless wacky. I was using 8# braid. The bass action here has been fast in ponds, rivers and lakes. I suspect that will change in a couple weeks when the real heat sets in.

Most complex ponds have bass and bluegill. A few association ponds we have put crappie in. Make sure it's cool to fish though, some places can be strict and if your not with the resident in person they will make you leave.

@@TwiztedFishingTv I meant where in Toledo, it kinda looks like the Maumee River. I live near there and need some spots i go fishing a lot and want to hit the maumee but do know where, where are a few of your favorite spots?

@@austinliner9300 I couldn't tell you specifics, I go there to visit my guy. I know how to get to his crib and he navigates from there lol. All the places we go are parks and access areas.

Tons of it, all the time. You can pick it up and come back 2 days later and do it all again SMH

For sure! You sent me some good colors for my area. As the water settles and clears up it will be more natural colors. To be honest though crappie love orange for some reason. No matter where I fish it's one of my go to choices.
