A few amazing days of spring herping in Georgia! Although we missed a few big targets, we saw dozens of snakes and weather was perfect. Looking forwards to more days like these as we move into March!

you know what i love about this channel? It seems like every time you see a venomous snake in the video, they're so chill and don't come across as this fierce aggressive mean snake. Even the rattlesnakes (with the exception of that one atrox that hated literally everything) just seem curious and sometimes don't even rattle. And then you get the channels where it's like "here's a Cottonmouth! now check out this threat display! you don't want to mess with this snake." And then proceeds to mess with it.

Was that first venomous snake a copperhead or cottonmouth? I thought his head looked pretty red and I thought cottonmouth where usually dark grey to black color. I need to know because I live on the red river in the backwoods of Louisiana. I hate when people kill harmless snakes. Those are our 2 major threats down here.
