hi everyone! i am so sorry if you are confused at any parts! just write a comment below if you have any questions! i had to fast forward so many parts to keep it under 15 minutes! this tutorial was very long to do and longer to edit! hope you guys still enjoy it!
please subscribe so i can make longer videos and not have to speed up everything so its hard to understand!

@beautyinthefacade pleats are just folds you make in the fabric to give it a different look or to just make the length of the fabric shorter ;) you basically just fold over the fabric like you were making a paper fan, but just make the folds going in the same way. there are a variety of pleats you can do though. i think i wanna do a video now on the different ways you can use a pleat ;) hoped this helped you!

@new2makeup123 no not to the whole piece. just at the bottom. the whole piece should match with the front shorts piece, only extend the bottom :) so the part i am cutting at 01:28, it does not match up with the front shorts piece, but the rest of the curve should match up. haha sorry its confusing but hope this makes more sense! :)

@new2makeup123 woo! thats good to hear :) 1. yes jersey knit for both. as long as the fabric is stretchy and feels comfortable to you then it should be good! :) 2. adding 1 inch allows room for your butt and makes the short fit nicer. so when you make the back shorts, the curve should be extended on the bottom. if you have shorts pattern, it should already come like that already, but if you are tracing then you need to add the the extra length yourself :) hope this helped!!! :D

I have to say, I have watched at least a dozen romper tutorials and this is by far the best and most stylish/flattering! I can't wait to make one but I have a few questions: 1. what type of fabric are you using? I'm assuming a jersey/stretch but not sure for the shorts 2. what do you mean by adding one inch to the crotch length of the back piece? (what is the difference between the front and back pieces?) Thanks so much for this great tutorial! wouldn't have thought of the pleats ;)

wow, you´re great! i´d have to rethink every step so often that it would easily take me a year to finish this... how did you learn to be so efficient? have you been sewing for a long time or do you plan every step in the beginning, so you just have to execute them in the second phase? because you certainly seem to know what you´re doing =D i really wanna make some highwaisted shorts now. and naturally i´ll follow your future vids ;D thanks for the share!

Wouldn't it be better to just go out and buy the romper? The cost of all the material you have to buy to make this is more than going out to a store and buying the actual thing! But it was adoraaabble. Didn't understand most parts though?
