Hi.. Sooo beautiful!! Makes a huge difference when the sun is shining, doesn't it? Cheers!

Absolutely! The sun shine transforms the garden and shows tropical-style planting in all its beauty!

The trachy princeps brown leaf has rotted off over winter, mine did the same but following leaves are fine. Garden is looking great.

@@Plant_Mad_Paul The slugs are relentless aren't they! Sorry about the dahlias too lol. I've just had a quick check for a large rhododendron for you and they're scarce at the moment but do check back at Millais Nurseries or Crug Farm Nursery later in the season 👌

Your a plant obsessive ha like me. Looking great the garden just need some sun and warm weather to come along. I had to move my Red Dragon to the back of the border as it put on so much growth but the leaves were not as big as your plants. Had a colocasia ‘Jacks Giant’ for years first time I split it up to six plants this year all doing well just wondering what to do with them all. Enjoying the videos.

Haha, there’s no denying it, I just love plants and learn so much from them. I’m looking forward to warmer days as a few plants are indeed behind for this time of year. That’s an excellent yield from your Jacks Giant! I’m yet to try one out, I’m growing a few others this year, pink China, white lava, black coral and blue Hawaii. Keep planting!🌿🌿

Excellent video thank you, few plants for me to try, shame about the alpina :(
@tropiclaud3 ай бұрын
Thanks so much for the feedback, there’s a few in there that you can source quite easily at the moment. And yes🥹🥹 the alpina seems to be sulking and attention seeking. Hopefully it has some life left in it, I’ll feed and hope!

Just a note, the rhus tree, aka sumac... grows crazy out of control if not cut back.. I had that sprouted up out of nowhere last year and removed them after seeing them on roadsides, we live in the French countryside.. The leaves are pretty and they turn a pretty red in fall.. Just fyi, and very toxic, allergy causing..
@tropiclaud3 ай бұрын
That’s really useful to know! I’ll be ready to keep it under control if I can stop being mesmerised by the leaves! Thanks for the heads up about the toxicity too! And thank you for watching from the beautiful country of France ❤️

Hi there, thank you for your lovely comment. All of my Red Robins are in the ground. Its a fantastic plant which sizes up quickly!
