Love the Klein/Spring area. Grew up there roughly between 1991 and 2009, back when it was all just called Spring, in Memorial Northwest. I thought it was a great place to grow up. The neighborhoods were all still younger than 20 years old, it was on the edge of rural areas, and we could access either the Woodlands or downtown within 30 minutes. Today it's understandably looking a little older, but still has it's charm. My parents still live off Spring Cypress. I've since moved north to the Montgomery area but still come visit all the time. I do miss those days in the 90s/2000s though when it seemed like there were less people running around and Tomball was considered "out in the sticks"!

I live not far from Old Town Spring. I love going there for festivals and at Christmas time. Wunsche’s restaurant is so good. I love the shops at Market Street as well as the restaurants on Hughes Landing.

I love these areas, plus Conroe too! How do you feel about these areas vs. the Woodlands areas? I feel like only the name is different.

Great video! Very informational. Which areas of Spring is better? I can imagine that it probably has good areas and bad areas just like every city. It’s kind of hard to know by looking at a map. I’m thinking of moving to Houston, but I haven’t found an area I can see myself living. I don’t have small children so I’m not worried about schools. I’m looking more for shopping, restaurants, hospital, parks with trails for walking, bicycling, and of course access to freeways, etc. Having said that, which ares would you recommend I start searching online? I’ve been also looking at Kingwood, but it seems kind of away from the woodlands, spring, area. I would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you so much!

Glad this was helpful, what you describe can be found in a few suburbs. The Woodlands, Katy, Cypress, Sugarland are going to have the best shopping and most restaurant options, as well as the trails

What is the best area in Houston for people just out of college? I’m also a college runner so I’d like somewhere with a great trail system. Jobs wise I’m going to be a firefighter so I don’t need to worry about that.

Best areas for young people just out of college, especially if you're trying to date is going to be inside the inner loop. The Heights is definitely a hotspot and has a great trail system. It can be expensive to buy in The Heights, but there are tons of rentals, good restaurants and bards and tons to do. Midtown and EADO are also cool spots to consider. If you want a suburb, The Woodlands has the best trail system in the Houston Area and still has stuff to do. Check out our vlog on The Heights and The Woodlands. And reach out to us if you have any other questions, we are happy to help!

Why do you guys always show only the nice, expensive neighborhoods? Or are there no lower income families in those towns? I don't mean ghetto but normal regular people.

Go watch our newer videos, plenty of neighborhoods we cover with homes starting at $215k. It doesn’t get any cheaper than that
