Thanks for watching! I want to make a fishing float video at some point as well for all those who don't have the luxury of a boat.

Thank you for the great & educational video. Is it worth taking up the trip there in summer ? Is there anything biting during summer? We are 4h30min away from the area. Did take a trip to the barge earlier this year and had a blast and now planning to take our boat up there. Tight lines!
@huntfishcamp4 ай бұрын
Summertime is always a bit unpredictable because the water lever is constantly changing. Right now the water is very high so bass and pike fishing is pretty good. Usually the water is lower in the summer and you can float wing dams to find walleyes and panfish.

Are you sure you were in pool 9? Your map reads pool 8...
@huntfishcamp Жыл бұрын
Yes, it was pool 9. Pool 8 is above that dam. . .I didn't even notice that when editing or I would have pointed it out. I'm editing my pool 8 video right now, so you'll get to see that pool soon!

By your video location it appears you are close to the “false lock”. It is illegal to fish that close to that area. They ( lock master) will send you a ticket in the mail if you get too close to that area.
@huntfishcamp Жыл бұрын
Yes, I’m well aware of the rules around the locks (I talked about this rule in the breakdown clip of the video). There’s a large sign in the wall that you cannot pass. As long as you stay down stream from the sign, your perfectly legal. I went up close to the sign once, but never past it. Thanks for the comment though, I would definitely want to know if I was breaking a law to prevent doing it again in the future.

Great video, I hate when a guy watches and then has negative comment like you are letting out a secret. I fish pools 10,11 and 12 don’t believeI will be coming up to 9 but I will be trying your tactics on my pools. Thanks again
