Excellent video , nice fish, enjoyed the included ice breaker portion. That was wild and a first time seeing someone going through the ice sheet. Glad you made it through, was wondering what would a guy do in that situation. Seeing the buoy slice through it was spectacular.

I duck hunt the Mississippi River and have a 2 inch limit and while I have done 3 inches thick in a 16’ Lowe Jon I don’t like it.

I need to get some warmer clothes and I have to figure out where my ambition is hiding. Plus if the sheepshead aren't biting it just doesn't feel right being on the river for me. 🙃 Nice fish!

Another great video as always. I noticed this time you are using minnows. How do you decide whether to use minnows vs paddle tails vs gulp? Thanks for sharing.

I had some minnows left from a previous outing so I brought them. I’ll generally bring minnows right at ice out just in case they need a little more convincing but honestly I don’t think I would have needed them to catch fish. Gulp probably would have done the trick.

Add a swivel up your line and you won’t have that line twist

That would work but I prefer not to have swivels on my line if I can get away with it. A little bit of twist is not an issue.

When youve got all the high buck gear,its simple.....do a episode with no side scan,or terrova with spot lock....
